Carcase Show held on Sunday 7th December 2008

There was tremendous support for this year’s Carcase Show. I had entries totalling 31 cattle; 20 lambs and 15 pigs. All of you that attended the show will have been, I am sure, as impressed as me with the new facilities at Skegness. It has to be one of the best Carcase Show’s in the Country and the quality was commented on by all three judges.

Lincolnshire Premier Foods organised a special Lincoln Red class this year and it drew in 20 entries which again, shows fantastic support for the abattoir. These classes did not go forward to the Championship.
