Laking's of Louth were founded in 1908, nearly a hundred years ago. Originally the business was run through two shops in the town, and was amalgamated in the early 1980's. This brought together the "Beef" shop from 71 Eastgate to our "Pork" shop at the present site of 33 Eastgate, Louth.

Within our shop we offer a full range of butchery goods, sourced from local farms and the local market. We also used to be a wholesale provider to the local meat trade but increased legislation proved prohibitive and this arm of the business had to close. Laking's of Louth display traditional quality fresh beef, lamb and pork. Our beef is "hung" for at least 21 days to give the meat maturity and tenderness. Our lambs are also given a "hanging" time to give them optimum tenderness and flavour.
